Membership Information

The University Lowbrow Astronomers exist to keep the University of Michigan’s 24-inch McMath telescope and other club equipment operating and accessible, and to care for the Peach Mountain Optical Observatory as a resource for both our members and the public. We learn from one another and from guest speakers, share our knowledge through open houses and outreach programs, and encourage a lifelong enjoyment and appreciation of astronomy. Above all, we believe that exploring the night sky should be welcoming, educational, and fun.
